AEI NatureGrade™ CPLA

The advantages associated with the use of NatureGrade™ CPLA to address environmental concerns currently outweigh most other technologies. Through research and development, Advanced Extrusion has engineered additives that expand the temperature range of our crystallized PLA from 250°F to minus 10°F. This opens up the application for PLA to include a variety of food products that, historically, could not be addressed with PLA. We are pleased to introduce NatureGrade™ CPLA to the industry as a broad-function food container which can be thermoformed for freezing or microwave/heat service use. NatureGrade™ CPLA from Advanced Extrusion is made from 100% sustainable, renewable plant-based materials, and is designed to break down completely into compost in a hot, active home or industrial compost pile. All components that are used to manufacture NatureGrade™ CPLA are either EN 13432 or ASTM D6400 approved compostable.
